Below include productions that may not feature on the above general sites and may be amateur, semi-professional, student or touring groups and may use an abridged, native language or reduced version of the opera. - The Grange Festival are performing Rossini's The Barber of Seville, June 9 - 30.

- The Buxton Festival plans to stage Verdi's Alzira, July 7-20

- Opera de la Luna will be touring their production of Donizetti's The Daughter of the Regiment at Buxton (July 9 and 15) and Wilton's Music Hall, London (July 31 and August 3).

- The Royal Opera are doing a concert performance of Donizetti's unperformed opera L'Ange de Nisida on July 18 & 21. See here for the story on how the opera has been brought back to life.


- Welsh National Opera are reviving their production of Donizetti's Roberto Devereux, April 12 to May 10, 2019.



- The Innsbruck Festwochen der Alten Musik is staging Mercadante's Didone on August 10, 12 and 14. See here.



- The Theater für Niedersachsen, Hildesheim, is giving the German premiere of Donizetti's Adelia on March 4, 10 and 17. See here.

- Deutsche Oper am Rhein are staging Donizetti's Pygmalion and Martinů's Ariadne in Duisberg, April 22 - May 20, 2018



- The Donizetti Festival, Bergamo, are planning Enrico di Borgogna (23, 25 Nov and 1 Dec) and  Elisabetta al Castello di Kenilworth (24, 30 Nov and 2 Dec).  There is a concert by Mariella Devia on 28 Nov.  See here for full details of the festival



- Will Crutchfield has moved his bel canto operations from Caramoor to a new venture, Teatro Nuovo, based at the Performing Arts Center at the State University of New York at Purchase, New York State.  See here for Crutchfield's announcement.  Their first festival will take place from July 28 and August 5 and include Rossini's Tancredi, Mayr's Medea in Corinto and a version of Tancredi incorporating music Rossini wrote for revivals.
