- English Touring Opera are touring Rossini's Elizabeth 1 (Elisabetta, regina d'Inghilterra ).

- OperaUpClose are touring their new production of Donizetti's Mary, Queen of Scots (Maria Stuarda) from April 1.

- Welsh National Opera are reviving their production of Donizetti's Roberto Devereux, April 12 to May 10, 2019.

- Opera Rara are recording Donizetti's Il Paria later this year and there will be a concert performance of the work at the Barbican, London on June 8. See here. There is an insight evening on April 30. See here.

- Longborough Opera are staging Donizetti's Anna Bolena, June 22 - July 1, 2019

- Dorset Opera (July 23-27) will be staging Verdi's Nabucco and Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor.



- The 2019 Wexford Festival (October 22 - November 3) will include Don Quichotte by Jules Massenet, Dorilla in Tempe by Antonio Vivaldi  and  Adina and L'inganno felice by Gioacchino Rossini. There will also be the world premiere of La Cucina by Irish composer Andrew Synnott. See here



- The 2019 Donizetti Festival, Bergamo, are planning to include the first ever staged performances of L’ange de Nisida, Lucrezia Borgia in a new critical edition and the Donizetti Project work, Pietro il Grande, Czar delle Russie.
